Pursuant to the huzzbuzz surrounding the blogosophere’s use of compensated reviews, here’s my disclosure statement:
My name is Eleora Melero and I am the sole owner & author of Yoetke Beauty Blog. For ANY questions, comments, complaints, concerns, relationship advice and the like, please e-mail me at yoetke@live.com.
I have not and will not use the blog for commercial purposes. I started this as a hobby & will continue to use it as such, unless, of course, I die, lose my Internet connection, deployed, get abducted, or just decide I don’t want to anymore.
There aren’t any ads on this blog & I’m going to keep it that way.
Regarding sponsored reviews: I have (exactly twice) recieved something to review for free, but that in no way affects my review of the product(s). I mean, c’mon, I have what, a whopping TWENTY subscribers? Who would I be kidding?
Aside from that, ALL of the reviews on this blog were made after testing out products I bought with my own money. I was in no way “compensated” for any misshapen eyebrows, stained nails, pimply skin, etc.
All reviews are a result of my own experiences & will probably differ from your own. Take all reviews with a grain of salt; I am in no way and will never be held responsible for any injuries you might get as a result of following something you read here. It’s your own body: if you know you’re allergic to something, or something just doesn’t sound right, then by all means DON’T do/attempt it. It’s way better to be safe than sorry.
About the pictures on this site: I took most using my own camera, took some from product stock images, and then may occasionally take some from other’s blogs to illustrate a point. I may or may not tell you I’m using your picture but I’ll always, always, always credit you & provide a link to your site. If you see a picture of yours on here & want it removed, then by all means e-mail me. I have absolutely no problem & mean no copyright infringement whatsoever.
If you want to use a picture from my site I’m fine with that, so as long as I’m credited. Same goes for excerpts.
However, regarding commercial use of my “work” (“work” meaning all the things you find on Yoetke Beauty Blog, as well as wherever I was posted as a guest reviewer): don’t. I put this up for free & I want to keep it that way.
Thanks for understanding and adhering to these policies, and have a wonderful day!
